IT equipment checkout software: loaner laptops out and back, serials and service on file.
vFound Equipment is equipment checkout software for IT help desks: it records each device with its serial, value and warranty and hands it out with a due time and an optional signature. It reminds people to bring it back.
An IT help desk keeps a shelf of loaner laptops, chargers, adapters and headsets for people whose own device is being repaired or who are starting on Monday.
Overdue items are at the top of what is out.
Valid card required. Cancel before day 14 to avoid the yearly charge.

Scan it back, or say what is wrong
Scan the label on a returned laptop and its card shows who has it. Take back records the return, and Damaged or parts missing? lets staff say what is wrong. Damaged or incomplete items are set aside for repair unless staff decide otherwise.

Each item can hold its serial number, purchase and warranty details, a replacement value and up to ten custom fields. Log maintenance, set service reminders and run a stock-take by scanning the shelf to see what is missing.
Connect it to your systems
Import your current list from a Snipe-IT, Sortly or Cheqroom CSV file, keep the people list current from a CSV link or through SCIM, and connect other tools through the REST API with scoped keys and signed webhooks.
What vFound Equipment is not
vFound Equipment is built for a desk that hands equipment out and gets it back. It does not track software licences or depreciation, so keep your asset management system for those.
