SWITCH TO VFOUND

Switching from Sign In App to vFound Visitors

Your staff list becomes the hosts visitors can name in vFound. Sign In App keeps your visit history, so export a copy of it before you leave.

Sign In App steps checked against its public help pages on 26 September 2026.

1. Export from Sign In App

  1. Sign In App’s help pages record that members can be exported, but they do not publish the steps. If you cannot find the export under Manage, Groups, ask Sign In App support for your members as a CSV file.Source
  2. Its own import template names the columns Full name, Role, Email and Phone number. vFound reads the Full name and Email columns by name.Source

2. Import into vFound Visitors

  1. In vFound, open People and choose More, then Import a CSV file. The same people list serves Parcels, Visitors and Equipment.
  2. vFound finds the columns by name in any order: a full name, or first and last name columns, plus email, room (or apartment, unit or department) and ID. Commas, semicolons and tabs all work.
  3. Check the count and the first name vFound shows, then choose Import. Someone already on the list with the same email is updated, not added twice. Up to 5,000 people go in at a time.

What comes with you

  • Your staff as the hosts visitors can name, with their email for arrival alerts.

What to keep a copy of

  • Your visit history. Sign In App exports it from Reports, History as a CSV file after you choose the site, group and dates.
  • Timesheet, booking and evacuation reports, which Sign In App lists as separate reports.
